Fall Color Weekend

Skip the Smoky Mountain crowds and experience the unadulterated Appalachian fall beauty at Fall Color Weekend.

This family-friendly event has activities for all ages including hikes, expert presentations, live music, and nature programming for children. You and your family can enjoy these and other activities while experiencing some of Kentucky's most beautiful natural areas and stunning autumn foliage.




Friday, October 20

Saturday, October 21

7:00 AM Birding, meet at Laurel House

8:00 AM Breakfast

8:45 AM Geology of Pine Mountain

9:45 AM Depart for Kingdom Come

10:30 AM Overlooks and Hiking at Kingdom Come

12:30 PM Lunch at picnic shelter

1:30 PM Log Rock & Gift shop

2:30 Depart Kingdom Come

Return to PMSS for Campus tour or hike

Rates
Cost is $225 for an adult and $125 for children ages 6-12. There is no charge for children ages 5 years and under.


Lodging
Visitors to Pine Mountain may stay in dormitory or cottage-style housing. Single rooms are available upon request. Linens are furnished.

All buildings at Pine Mountain are smoke-free. Pets, firearms, drugs and alcohol are not permitted on School property.

Meals
Meals are served in the Laurel House dining room. When possible, the School serves vegetables grown on campus. Vegetarian meals are available upon request.

Advance Deposit
A non-refundable advance deposit of $50.00 per person is required at the time of registration and will apply to the total cost of the event. Lodging is not guaranteed without deposit.
