Pine Mountain Settlement School offers beautiful accommodations for your wedding.
Our Chapel has 22 pews and will seat 200 people. Laurel House will seat 100 people in the dining hall, which has 11 round tables (56 1/2"), 3 rectangular tables (34"x67"), 1 long rectangular table (32"x106"), and 1 long rectangular table (32"x144").
Arrangements can be made for PMSS to prepare rehearsal dinners and reception foods. Please call our office or contact us for more information.
Wedding Rates
Wedding rates effective JANUARY 1, 2009.Package A $100.00
4 hours of Chapel use on wedding day
- no dressing rooms or bathrooms included
- no reception hall included
1 hour rehearsal on the day prior to the wedding
Use of piano
$75 security deposit required
Security deposit is fully refundable if buildings and grounds are left clean and without damage. Deposit is refunded within 3 weeks after wedding.
Deposit is non-refundable if wedding is cancelled.
Package B $300.00
4 hours combined facility use on wedding day (Chapel and Laurel House)
1 hour rehearsal on the day prior to the wedding
2 dressing rooms in Laurel House

Dressing Rooms (For use with Pkg. A — 2 rooms in Westwind) $25.00

Laurel House rental $50.00 per hour
Organ* (usage fee) $25.00
*organist must be approved by PMSS in advance
*you are responsible for payment to the organist
Kitchen help $10.00 per hour / per person
General assistance 1 person
Includes bringing things in and out of kitchen and
heating food. Does not include serving or clean up
of dining room.
Specialized assistance 2 people per 30 guests
Required if PMSS staff are serving, doing dishes
or helping to clean up. Please be accurate in your
estimate of guests to ensure adequate staffing.
Plate & napkin rental fee $1.00 per plate/napkin
Pew clips No Charge for Use
Available for decorating pews ? tape, staples, tacks or nails are not allowed. Broken or missing clips will be considered damage. The cost of replacing broken or mission clips will be deducted from your deposit.
Security Deposit
A $75 security deposit is required once reservations are made.Deposit must be received within 14 days after scheduling a date, otherwise reservations are not guaranteed.
Deposit is refundable after the wedding if buildings and grounds are left clean and without damage.
Deposit is non-refundable if wedding is cancelled.
We reserve the right to cancel if all charges are not paid in full 2 weeks prior to wedding date.
General Rules and Guidelines for Weddings
1) Keep decorations simple, using nothing that will mark or scar windows, floors, or furniture. (No tape, staples, tacks or nails) Pew clips are available for use at no charge. The cost for broken or missing clips will be deducted from your deposit.2) If using candles, place aluminum foil underneath so wax does not get on window sills.
3) Decorating and all clean up must be done in allotted rental time. (Extra time must be scheduled in advance. Additional fees will apply)
4) NO BALLOONS ALLOWED in Chapel.
5) NO SILLY STRING ALLOWED.
6) Do not block campus roads.
7) Do not park in the grass.
8) Use bird seed instead of rice. Do not throw seed inside the buildings.
9) NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED.
10) NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN BUILDINGS.
11) It's your responsibility to leave the facility clean. Please consider clean up time when choosing your package.
12) If additional time is needed for your reception in Laurel House, please arrange for it in advance.
13) PMSS STAFF ONLY ALLOWED IN KITCHEN- STATE REGULATIONS.
14) No one is allowed to play the organ without permission from the PMSS executive director.
15) Collecting plants from Pine Mountain campus is prohibited.
16) Your deposit is non-refundable if damage occurs or facilities left unclean. If damage exceeds the amount of deposit, you will be held responsible for the full repair cost.
