This year we combine two of our most popular events — Fair Day and Sorghum Stir-off — for a fun-filled day of Appalachian culture and heritage.
Come join the old time Appalachian tradition of Sorghum production at the Pine Mountain Barn. You will learn first-hand from local expert Gary Branson how to grow and process sorghum into sweet and delicious syrup.
