Environmental Literacy Workshop

Gain professional development at scenic and historic Pine Mountain Settlement School! While you are here, you will eat farm-fresh food, stay at a National Historic Landmark in a beautiful setting, and enjoy comfortable cabin or cottage accommodations with high-speed wifi and air conditioning. You will also collaborate and socialize with other teachers during hands-on, interactive sessions that model the techniques you can take back.

1pm-4pm: Incorporating Place-based Environmental Science into your Classroom: A Hands On Approach
4pm-5:30pm: Free time and explore campus
5:30pm: Supper
6:30pm: Integrating Arts: Corn-shuck Doll Making and Weaving

Friday, July 21
8:30am: Breakfast
9am-12pm: Putting it All Together: Work-shopping Your Own Lesson Series
12pm: Lunch and depart

Cost is only $50 for lodging, meals, and instruction
