Open to youth 8 and 18, this 6-class series explores traditional wood carving, and will meet February 19, 22, 26, 29, March 4, 11 at 4:30.
During this 6-week intensive class, students will learn the to turn blocks of wood into beautiful works of art. Spending the first several classes working on small figurines, students will experiment with a carving knife, learning the proper and safe way , before finishing with a wood spirit walking stick. This class is sure to be fun and interesting for all.
