Every spring, naturalists, photographers, and nature lovers flock to Pine Mountain to immerse themselves in one of the region's most unique habitats.
To celebrate this Beautiful time of year, Pine Mountain Settlement School is hosting its annual Spring Naturalist Weekend May 12-14. During this program, folks of all ages will participate in guided hikes along our forested trails, visit the magnificent Lucy Braun State Nature Preserve, forage for medicinal and edible plants, and enjoy spring time in the mountains.
Lodging is provided on Friday and Saturday nights. Visitors may stay in dormitory or cottage-style housing. Bathrooms are shared.
Meals are provided from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast. Homegrown vegetables are served as much as possible. Vegetarians options are available with advance notice.
